I look around and I see so many amazing photographers and I consider how boring and horrible some of the things that I have are. I mean, there are some very beautiful shots on here, and mine are just bland. Yes, they're pretty, but they'll never really hold up to the bigger, better artists. I would like to be just as good, and have the equipment and the means to take such gorgeous pictures, but all I have is a $100 or so digital camera.

In the grand scheme of things I'm only an amateur I guess. Maybe its a way to balance talent out. I'm a writer dead set. I consider myself pretty good and feel I can make a living at it, but that doesn't change that sometimes I just want to create a beautiful picture not with words, but with sight.

Oh well.
